We had lunch - spicy squid stir fry and soybean soup. They were fresh and delicious. Side dishes were tasty as well. A kimchee pancake was on the house. We will come back for sure!

I've said it before and ill say it again, one of the best Korean places in SF. The staff is super nice and always gives us a free tofu soup. I highly recommend the jab jap chae with beef, it's SO flavorful and the best jap chae I've ever had.

Absolutely top-notch. Everything that touched the table was incredible, and that's quite a few dishes considering the ban chan. Barbecue was perfectly seasoned and cooked and super tender. Waitress was on top of things without being on top of us.

The perfect place for a korean comfort meal in SF!!

It's a pretty small restaurant but every time I've came here there was no wait. Everything about this restaurant screams authentic and comforting.

Right off the bat, they give you a lot of banchans that fill up your entire table. The kimchi was perfectly fermented and had a good spice too it. My favorite dishes to get here are the sam gyeop sal (spicy pork belly) and the soft tofu soup. The pork belly was so tender and so pieces were smokey and charred. Its marinated in a spicy sauce that isn't too overpowering. The tofu soup was super flavorful and came out piping off.

Whenever I visit, the owners have always given me complimentary japchae and let me tell you, it's probably one of the best japchae's I've ever had. It was super flavorful and the noodles weren't too soft.

Overall, a really good korean spot!

Wish I lived closer because this place is sooo good!

Pretty small restaurant, so there can be a bit of a wait. They no longer have lunch hours, so no lunch specials :(

My fave is al chige (spicy pollack roe soup w/ veggies). The soup is sooo rich and they are so generous with the roe. The soup comes with a dude of rice, fish roe, mushrooms, radish, onions, and zucchini. It's more of a mild spicy. I've been here a few times and they offered complimentary potstickers. The workers are the sweetest.

Stopped by on a weekend for lunch and it wasn't too busy.

The highlight of the meal for me was the beef tartare. I really enjoyed the texture of the beef and how they cut it into strips mixed with the radish. Overall, really refreshing dish.

They also gave us a complimentary kimchi seafood pancake that was pretty good. The seafood tofu soup was also a solid option.

My friend and I are now regulars at Muguboka. I think they have the best Korean tofu soup in the Richmond District! That's what we typically come here for on the weekends along with their seafood pancake. The restaurant has a very home-y vibe and we always leave very satisfied. Their sides are also good.

This place has a very family run business feel and so all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I like the feel of the place because it reminded my girlfriend and I of Korea and how some businesses were modest but very welcoming over there. We both ordered the bibim naengmyeon as we were really craving that and the seafood pancake. Although the seafood pancake and naengmyeon were both delicious, I was especially wowed by their service. Despite being busy, they still had time to check in on us with water and brought extra napkins. They even gave us a tofu soup on the house, which was actually was very good. Better than most tofu soups we have tried!  We will certainly return!
